2025 E-MRS Fall Meeting and Old Friends

From September 15, 2025 to September 18, 2025, two group members attended the 2025 E-MRS Fall Meeting held at Warsaw University of Technology, Warsaw, Poland, and presented both invited talks and posters.

Duo Wang gave an invited talk on the polar magnetic skyrmions discovered in the CrInX3 (X=Se, Te) system. PhD student Fengyi Zhou presented a poster, titled Revealing rich magnetic phases in orthorhombic perovskite TbCrO3: a first principles study.

We also had a chance to catch up with PI’s PhD supervisor, Prof. Biplab Sanyal, as well as former college and alumni at Uppsala University, Sweden, Prof. Iulia-Emilia Brumboiu, and Prof. Baotian Wang.
